Process
The Organic Nutrition Centre Process:
- A Biomass Energy Generator System supplies 9,6 MegaWatt of energy (8.5 MW thermal, and 1,1 Mw electrical power)
- This energy is used to reduce the original humidity inside the champost of 65% to a mere 15%; this is realised in a biomass belt dryer
- Then the dried Champostplus obtains its final pellet shape, to ensure:
- A longer shelflife
- An easier spreading of the product on the land
- A better and longer lasting soil improvement
- And finally the pellets are packed into bags, bales or bulk
